Based on the 2013 vintage with the addition of 20% reserve wines from 2012 and disgorged in November 2017, Moncuit's NV Extra Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs is showing very well, wafting from the glass with a complex bouquet of brioche, ripe lemons, verbena and lime zest. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample but precise, with a delicately textural attack, excellent concentration and a bright spine of acidity, supported by a pinpoint mousse and concluding with a vibrant, mouthwateringly chalky finish. - (Wine Advocate)
