Domaine René et Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru 1999

As is often the case, the Le Clos is the best wine in the line up yet it accomplishes this by virtue of sheer class and complexity because the fruit and flavors are slightly dilute and don't offer the same impact of either the La Forest or the Preuses. That said, this is still very pretty with its intense fruit, medium weight flavors and solid, if not exceptional, length. I very much like the precision but I wish it had more weight and flavor authority. - (Burghound)
