A ripe yet restrained nose somewhat grudgingly offers up its aromas of dark currant, plum, spice and freshly turned earth. There is outstanding size, weight and concentration to the very suave, round and quite generously proportioned big-bodied flavors that culminate in a muscular and well-balanced finish where a touch of the classic youthful austerity appears. This too will require at least some patience though I would expect that this could be approached after only 7 to 8 years of cellaring. - (Burghound)
