This is also notably floral though the wood and menthol elements are more conspicuous and fight somewhat with the brooding dark currant and earth scents. There is good power and muscle to the middle weight plus flavors that possess a highly attractive mouth feel before concluding in a wonderfully complex, intense and unusually refined finish thanks mainly to the relatively fine-grained tannins. This is really a very good effort, indeed I would describe it as a Clos de Vougeot of refinement though make no mistake, it should be more than capable of rewarding extended cellaring. - (Burghound)
