Domaine Jacques Prieur is a legendary and unique Burgundy estate. Founded in 1868, it possesses an unparalleled collection of vineyards across Burgundy's most celebrated appellations.

Rare Collection: It is likely the only estate to own vineyards in the greatest appellations of both the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including iconic Grand Crus like Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot, Corton, and Montrachet.

Modern Renaissance: Since 1988, under the ownership of the Labruyère family (with Édouard Labruyère now managing), the domaine has undergone a remarkable quality revival.

Expert Leadership: This renaissance has been driven by a blend of tradition and modern vision, notably under the technical direction of acclaimed winemaker Nadine Gublin since 1990.

Tasting Note
品嚐筆記
This is quite ripe yet also very fresh with a hint of wood spice to the plum, cassis and warm earth suffused nose. There is good concentration to the relatively powerful broad-shouldered flavors that possess plenty of palate coating dry extract that also serves to buffer the very firm tannic spine on the textured and solidly persistent finish. This is not as complex as the other grands crus in the range though it's obviously very early so perhaps more will develop in time. That said, while my predicted range obviously foresees some future development, I should note that the underlying material is not as strong as the best here. - (Burghound)
