Tasting Note
Deep ruby color. A deft touch of wood surrounds the ripe and very fresh black raspberry, earth and discreet floral nuances. There is the same attractive freshness and sense of tension to the medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine minerality on the muscular, even robust finish that is quite firmly structured. This is a big and extracted wine in the context of what is typical for Beaune and clearly built to age. - (Burghound)
