The 2007 Vieux Telegraphe Blanc, which represents 7% of this estate’s Chateauneuf du Pape production, is an unusual blend of 40% Clairette, 30% Grenache Blanc, and the rest equal parts Roussanne and Bourboulenc. One of the most consistent and finest of the white Chateauneuf du Papes, it offers up a floral character (reminiscent of Viognier) along with white currants, and hints of rose water and honey.
