Domaine Chevrot Maranges La Croix Moines 1er Cru 2013

<p>It is one of the smallest vineyards in Burgundy, totaling 1,064 hectares. Legend has it that this land was the first to be cleared and planted with vines by the monks in the Maranges appellation. Croix Moines is the jewel of the Maranges appellation. With its sumptuous nose blending floral notes, spices, and small red fruits, and its graceful and profound palate, there is no doubt that this is a great Pinot Noir from Burgundy.</p>

Bouquet of red plums, raspberry, violets with hints of rich earth, cocoa. A deep fruit core on the palate, a velvety and elegant texture with fine tannins.
