The 2012 Savigny-les-Beaune Goudelettes was a tiny production, reduced by over 60% due the myriad of disasters that struck the vineyard (incidentally, totally decimated by hail in 2013.) It has a nicely composed, featherweight bouquet that is well defined but does not quite offer the complexity of previous vintages. The palate has a spicy entry, a crisp line of acidity with a simple, fresh lemongrass-tinged finish. Fine.
