Gourmand and dramatic, the 2019 Echézeaux Grand Cru Les Treux Vieilles Vignes wafts from the glass with notions of sweet berry fruit, creamy new oak, exotic spices, dark chocolate and loamy soil. Full-bodied, layered, rich and velvety, its succulent acids and unusually soft tannins are cloaked in a lavish core of fruit. This is the best young wine I've tasted from Tardy.
