The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Cazetiers offers darker, slightly broody fruit on the nose. There is a pastille-like quality here. The palate is medium-bodied with dark cherry and boysenberry fruit, the acidity nicely judged with a supple and succulent, almost candied finish. I can just feel the warmth of the growing season here budging out the terroir expression, yet still this is very fine.
