Moderate wood influence frames the wonderfully spicy aromas of plum, dark berries and plenty of floral influence. The more refined, if less overtly powerful, flavors also possess solid volume that culminate in a lingering, balanced and delicious finish where the wood displayed by the nose resurfaces. This is a bit oaky but the wine should eventually absorb it.
