An expressive, airy and cool nose is comprised by notes of pomegranate, spice and red cherry along with hints of violet and lavender. There is lovely punch to the refined middle weight flavors that despite the refinement there is an underlying muscularity that is in evidence on the firm, serious and mildly austere finale that exhibits a touch of dryness that I ascribe to gas. My predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt.
