It is put through 100% Malolactic fermentation and then given an elevage in 40% small barrels, with the balance kept in tank. It is then blended together.
1997 was an excellent vintage for white Rhone’s. The wine exhibits citrusy, honeyed, rose petal-like scents, good fruit, and a medium to full-bodied personality.
I find this white drinks well with an assortment of grilled fish dishes.
